What is the value of love? This seems to be an extremely hard answer but one novelist has the perfect answer to this question. Zelda Fitzgerald said, “Nobody has ever measured, not even the poets, how much a heart can hold.” It is true. Love is immeasurable. And one being that gives us this unconditional passion is our mother.
In honor of all the mothers worldwide this Mother’s day, we list three reasons why mothers are still the finest nurses we have ever met:
- She knows where the pain is.
Our mothers may not be doctors, dentists, nurses and other medical practitioners but she really knows us better than ourselves. Even if we only had a sprain, she does not limit to giving us cold compress but she also cooks for us our favorite dish.
Aside from that, she also provides us all the things we need throughout the day. She makes our bed comfortable so that we can rest and relax our injured muscles. She prepares us healthy foods to help us recover fast. There is nothing mom does not know!
- She makes you feel comfortable and strong.
For any of us, recovering at home is better than being confined in a hospital. It is not called confinement for nothing, after all. In a hospital, you are forced to stare at white walls and wait for your recovery in boredom.
While at home, you get to enjoy doing your hobbies and even mom’s cooking! Both are the perfect ingredients in making us stand back on our two feet once again.
- She does not only heal us physically.
When we experience pain, we do not only receive first aid treatment or any kind of treatment from our mom. If you compare this to an RPG game, a mother does not only heal our HP. She also restores our SP and even our MP. Talk about a master healer!
When we are bedridden for days, our spirit would eventually dwindle and turn sour. But because of mom’s warm hugs and sweet words of encouragement, we soar from 0% to a hundred percent in an instant! Through her support, we believe we can defeat all the monsters that stand in our way.
Caring Nurses Services is merely a home care agency in Edgewood MD. Even though we look up Florence Nightingale as the light in the nursing field and an inspiration to us all, we still cannot deny the healing powers of our mothers.
And because she is already way past her youth, you need to give her the finest care in the world. As nurses, we can give your mom the care she needs no matter what her condition is. Visit www.caringnurse.org.
Mothers, continue giving us the care we deserve. And in return, we will help care for you when you are no longer capable of caring for yourself.
Happy Mother’s Day!
